Almost There Now
We said our last round of family good-byes today. Things are starting to feel very real. And exciting. And a little bit sad. I should probably man up and swallow the lump in my throat, or whatever. But no, I feel like saying it: family is a good thing and saying good bye for an extended period of time doesn’t feel good.
For the first time, I’m getting an idea of what Gaga feels like, every time we leave Poland after a visit. I can relate a bit better, now. There, the trip paid off already. Isn’t that great? Take this, character! *slap* Consider yourself re-shaped!
Now, we only have to pack half a metric ton of stuff into two dozen gazillion boxes and then go and play a round of Tetris with them in the basement. Yay! Oh, and pack a few (hundred) bags. Oh, and call people, and write to people, and go to the bank to get rid of all the cash we have. And… stuff. So, better get to it. And this may also serve as an introduction to this section of the blog: random glimpses. Into our chaotic life. 🙂
See you all on the other side (of the ocean)!
