Little about politics
Today was a big day in Canada, it was election day. And you could see it everywhere, because the Canadians take it pretty seriously.
The buses were displaying “Vote today” sign, several shops had similar signs in their windows. If you visited google.com or google.ca today, even the Google Doodle reminded you to vote today. Julian told me, they got an email from HR department, to draw attention to this particular day.
During my walk I passed several constituencies and I was very surprised to see loads of people going in and out, some people were even standing in the line to give a vote, it was so crowded in some places. I overheard one woman saying, that she waited for 20 minutes to receive the ballot.
And yes, maybe the Canadian are decades behind considering the mobile contract policy but they definitely understood that democracy is not only a privilege but also an obligation. And in this matter we should learn something from them.
So on that note: Canadians, hats off!

Wellllll.. i have nothing to say really. Just thought it’s way overdue to let you guys know that we do read everything you post 🙂 So keep ’em coming!
